It's a new adventure for me to try and create a page with information and help for students and parents. My old page was boring so I am trying something different. I don't know how it will turn out, but I need all the help I can get with the look and the technical stuff, so feel free to make suggestions.

Community Colleges Do Not Require ACT or SAT This doesn't mean you shouldn't take these tests. It just means you don't need them for Community Colleges (CWI, CSI, TVCC, for example). You do need the COMPASS test for those colleges, but for PLACEMENT and not for admission. More about the COMPASS test later.
APPLY TO COLLEGE NOWCOLLEGES WILL NOT OFFER YOU FINANCIAL AID UNTIL YOU HAVE APPLIED AND BEEN ACCEPTED. THIS MEANS YOU NEED TO BE ACCEPTED BEFORE THE PREFERENTIAL AID DEADLINE. Check the college webpages for their preferential aid deadlines.
